Testnet

Our contracts are currently deployed on the Sepolia testnet and are open for public testing.

Grab your test underlying tokens from the faucets here: 1. riskBTC 2. riskETH

Once you have your underlying token, you can interact with our platform by visiting web.riskprotocol.io.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Connect Your Wallet

   • Open the TRP Dapp.
   • Click the Connect Wallet button located at the top-right of the interface.

   • Choose your preferred wallet provider (e.g., MetaMask) and ensure that you are connected to the Sepolia Testnet.

   • Once connected, your wallet address will be displayed on the interface.

2. Split Your Underlying Token into Risk On/Off

   • After connecting your wallet, navigate to the Split Modal.

   • Select the amount of underlying tokens (BTC/ETH) you want to split.

   • You can choose to split into:

     • RiskON/RiskOFF: This is the default selection. In return for 1 unit of the underlying cryptocurrency, you receive 1 unit of RiskON and 1 unit of RiskOFF. Choose which token you want to keep and swap out of the other.

     • RiskON Only: This operation will first split the underlying cryptocurrency into RiskON & RiskOFF. It will then swap out of the RiskOFF for additional RiskON. This happens seamlessly in one transaction for the user.

     • RiskOFF Only: This operation will first split the underlying cryptocurrency into RiskON & RiskOFF. It will then swap out of the RiskON for additional RiskOFF. This happens seamlessly in one transaction for the user.

   • Once you've decided, approve and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

3. Swap

   • Swap between underlying and RiskON/RiskOFF. SWAP function currently uses 3 asset Balancer pools. In future, SWAP functionality will be extended to include all major tokens found on DEXes.

4. Redeem

   • You will need equal amounts of RiskON & RiskOFF to redeem your collateral. Similar to Split there's one to one equivalency. Burning 1 unit of RiskON & 1 unit of RiskOFF will allow you to redeem 1 unit of the underlying cryptocurrency.

5. View Token Balances

   • After splitting, you will see your balances for both Risk On and Risk Off tokens displayed on the top right when you click on the "Connect Wallet" button.

   • Each token represents a specific exposure to the risk-return profiles.
